2020 De La Boue Syrah

$49.99

Pure Oregon wine made wholeheartedly! Winemaker Travis Todd and his partner Chris Andrew have been at it since 2019 making some of the most exciting wine coming out of Oregon today. Travis was winemaking at some of Oregon’s largest wineries and felt unfulfilled. He longed to make wines that spoke to him and showed authenticity of the land. Him and Chris now are sourcing extremely high quality fruit from ethically and sustainable vineyards in the Willamette Valley.

Though these wines are low intervention and pure, they are the type of sturdy wines that are good on day 2, 3 and beyond. This is a testament to Travis’ careful winemaking and the quality of their grapes.

The 2020 De La Boue Syrah evolves the moment you open it! The grapes are from Lewis Vineyard nestled at the foothills of Rattlesnake Ridge in the Columbia Valley Appellation.

Starts off with plum, blackberries and a light savoriness that reminds me of olives and herbs. The fruit then takes over and really opens making it feel so juicy and lush with just the right amount of acid to feel light on its toes. A delight!
