Andrew Will Two Blondes Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
In 2017 we decided that the quality of two blondes has long been established and that we should recognize that on the bottle. Hence the creation of a full new line-up of single vineyard wines featuring our signature grapes. This vintages blend consists of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two different blocks of Two Blondes vineyard. This wine was fermented and aged in 20% new French Oak barrels and 80% neutral French oak barrels. This Cabernet is a classic example of “restraint” in a varietal that has become known more for power and ripeness. 2017 was a great vintage that allowed for full phenolic ripeness due to a cool second half of September which allowed for extended hangtime with minimal sugar accumulation. All of the wines from this vintage show a lot of freshness and balance.
