Rhys Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir 2017
We went searching for a Pinot Noir out of California that approached the quality we loved out of classic Burgundy, and we think we found it in Rhys, an excellent producer based in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where they take a very meticulous approach to caring for their 1.3 acres of vineyards.
Simply put - it’s a beautiful Pinot Noir bursting with character and complexity, and even seven years on, it’s got plenty of life left.
